Ever noticed that the functionality of your day depends on how your morning ends up being like? Well, for me a lot of what happens during the day depends on how my morning went. If my morning starts in a frenzy-snoozing my alarm, skipping breakfast and rushing to the door to get to work then the rest of my day is just like ‘Whatever’.
Incorporating some healthy morning habits is quite important to set the mood of your day right. It is your daily habits and lifestyle that defines your persona. Adapting a healthy lifestyle is simply, remember I said simple not easy!
The basic necessity for you to cultivate positive habits is to have the intent and the will to make it happen. Here we talk about some healthy habits to start your morning right.

Wake up early
Now, not many of us are good with mornings. I myself am not a morning person to be honest.
However, early risers reap many benefits and you don’t want to miss them. Mornings are the best time to get things done. Accomplish what you want to in the peaceful time of the day.
Smile
Smiling is an exercise that leads you to positive mindset in life. According to the scientists when you smile your body releases the feel-good neurotransmitters dopamine and endorphins. This means that by laughing first thing when you wake up you’ll be starting your day in a better mood.
In addition, when you smile your mood is further lifted by the announcement of serotonin. Force yourself to smile!
Warm water with Lemon
Hydrate Yourself! Lemon water cleanses and excites the liver and kidneys. It is rich in Vitamin C and leaves your skin looking young and healthy. Make it a habit to drink a tall glass of lukewarm water with half a lemon squeezed in it.
Stretch

It is very important to stretch yourself once a day and there is no better time than morning to practice this. Engage in any sort of exercise that you like, if you like hitting the gym then join the damn gym. If you believe in the power of Yoga then try a few Yoga poses, if dance is your forte, then join those fun Zumba classes.
Plan your Day
Wake up to a day with a goal and purpose in your head. Set your priorities straight, if it is too much to remember, take a pen and paper and jot down a to-do list. This will reduce the Chaos in your head and let you Work Patiently.

Meditate
Get your physical self understood by your mental and emotional self. Meditate a Little, it takes hardly any time of yours. Follow these steps.
Sit in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and focus on your breath.
Inhale for 4 counts, retain for 4 counts, and exhale for 8.
Every time you feel your mind roaming, bring it back to your breath
Eat Healthy Breakfast
Breakfast is the most essential meal of the day! Not many of you might know but skipping breakfast is tied to being overweight. Having a healthy breakfast consisting of lean protein, while grains and healthy fats will leave with better concentration and energy for the rest of the day.
Create what you love
Most of us begin their day with their phone on scrolling over what’s new on the social media. It is very important to begin your day doing something that you really like. This can be anything at all. If you love being in shape, go hit the gym; write something for yourself, create new ideas for your album. Be creative!
